O-I Announces New Treasurer

Amezquita will be responsible for the management of the company`s worldwide financial assets, as well as domestic and international financing. He also will lead the company`s global treasury and risk management functions.

8 Nov 2012 --- Owens-Illinois, Inc. (OI) announces that Juan Amezquita has been selected to lead the company`s treasury function effective immediately. Amezquita will be responsible for the management of the company`s worldwide financial assets, as well as domestic and international financing. He also will lead the company`s global treasury and risk management functions. Amezquita joined O-I in 2005 as treasurer of O-I Peldar, the company`s joint venture in Colombia. Since then, he has held a variety of positions in Latin America and North America, most recently as assistant treasurer since 2010.

"Since joining O-I, Juan has demonstrated great aptitude and capability in the variety of roles he has undertaken," said Steve Bramlage, senior vice president and chief financial officer. "I am confident that he will continue to lead our efforts to enhance O-I`s financial flexibility."

Prior to joining O-I, Amezquita spent more than 20 years in various finance roles in multiple industries in Colombia.
