Old Croc Packaging Earns American Graphic Design Award

Trugman Nash, LLC, an affiliate of MCT Dairies, Inc., is proud to announce that Old Croc, its line of Australian cheddars, was recently awarded the 2015 American Graphic Design Award for excellence in packaging design.
Designed by the Zullo Agency of Princeton, NJ, the striking black packaging with its brightly colored brand logo was created to reflect the bold, adventurous spirit of the Australian outback. “On behalf of our design team at the Zullo Agency, we are very honored to be recognized for this prestigious award,” stated Ken Meyers, CEO of Trugman;Nash, LLC. Meyers added, “In today’s highly competitive specialty cheese market, a brand’s packaging needs to work really hard to grab the consumer’s attention and promote trial. As the fastest growing imported cheddar cheese in the Unites States, we take great pride in knowing that our packaging is not only turning heads with consumers in the supermarket but also with the America’s graphic design community.”
The American Graphic Design Awards recognizes outstanding new work across all media: print, packaging, point-of-purchase, internet, interactive and motion graphics. For this year’s consideration, nearly 10,000 entries were submitted with a highly selective 15% recognized with a Certificate of Excellence.
