The Presto Products Fresh-Lock® zipper brand launched a new line of polypropylene zippers for retort and other high-temperature packaging applications. Zipper will allow manufacturers to provide protection and user convenience, offering advantage over cans or jars, company says. Zippers are available for both bottom-fill and top-fill pouch applications, and they can be used in stand-up pouch or 3-side-seal pouch designs. Zippers can be used in wet, moist, or dry applications and can be modified to meet the specific requirements of the product and package design. New equipment is not required because the zipper is easily incorporated into existing f/f/s equipment currently in use for zipper applications.
