Robust fridge pack

Corby-based converter CRP Print and Packaging has produced a robust refrigerator pack formed from AssiDomän's Frövi Light cartonboard for global wine retailer Constellation. The pack is made from a 250 g/m² Frövi Light litho-printed liner laminated to single-faced corrugated. 

Corby-based converter CRP Print and Packaging has produced a robust refrigerator pack formed from AssiDomän's Frövi Light cartonboard for global wine retailer Constellation. The pack is made from a 250 g/m² Frövi Light litho-printed liner laminated to single-faced corrugated. Constellation, whose key brands include Hardy's, Banrock Station and Stowells of Chelsea, works closely with CRP's design centre, said to be the UK's largest of its type. CRP operations director Tom Lindop explains: "Using Frövi as the top liner ensures we can supply wine boxes significantly stronger than many offered by our competitors. This is important as the finished product is placed directly on a pallet and distributed throughout Europe. Frövi grades also offer excellent printability and resistance to cracking.
