Seidel Develops Design Components and Packaging Systems for the Cosmetics Industry

20/10/06 Seidel develops and produces design components and packaging systems -predominantly out of aluminium–for the cosmetics industry. Furthermore clients of the writing utensil-, automotive and pharmaceutical industry also belong to our portfolio.
Our core competence is deep drawing of aluminium and subsequent surface refinement by a special brilliance anodising process. Due to our Know-How we have acquired over years and highly qualified staff members and latest technology we can realize the most challenging designs including for instance the "Boss-in-Motion-bowl" that was presented at the booth.
The bowl is also a prime example for further competences within the Seidel company: other components of this extraordinary perfume wrapping are synthetic injection moulding parts from own construction and production. Assembling completes our profile as a full service supplier.
To our customers belong Global Players like AVON Cosmetics, Procter & Gambel, and L’Oreal. They admire not only the continuous high product quality but also our flexible and fast way to react to customer inquiries. Often we are co-developing design ideas with customers – from the first idea to the final product.

This year Seidel is celebrating its 175 year anniversary – another reason to invite to our booth.
A further reason to celebrate is the grant of the P&G Prestige Products Innovation Awards 2006. At the Suppliers Review Day of Procter & Gamble Prestige Products in October 2006 Seidel was awarded inter alia for its proactive approach of solution proposals for designs and packings.
Seidel was already awarded in 2004 in the category Excellence in Execution.
At the booth Seidel is presenting amongst other things the following novelties and products:
* The challenging aluminium cap for Puma’s new perfume Create. The design of the flacon designed as a colour tube is completed by a challenging aluminium cap made by Seidel. The design with the corrugated border and the engraved Puma-Logo as well as the shiny-silver appearance are demanding highest requirements in the production process.
* The crème-pot of the re-nutriv–series by Estée Lauder shows all competence in assembling challenging cosmetis-packings as well as in realization of challenging designs.
* New cap and new collar for the up to date version of Miracle Summer. Challenging design, exact remove-values and a shiny-golden surface are distinguishing the performance by Seidel.
* Aluminium components with a structured surface and embossing for the masculine Design of the care-series Skin by Hugo Boss, including the assembly of a pump with the design components out of aluminium.
Many more components like lipstick-casings and mascara-casings belong to the product range of Seidel.
At three locations in the Marburg area (Hessen) in Germany Seidel is producing inter alia in a new highly modern production hall – awarded with an architectural price- at the location in Fronhausen. Thereby Seidel counts on the high qualification and motivation of fairly 600 staff members as well as on long term trustful customer relations.
