Shrink Wrapper

31/01/08 Polypack’s “CLEAR-PRINT” print registration shrink wrapper uses a patent-pending integrated film perforation system, which perforates the film before multipacking products.
The new fully integrated handle is applied internally to the wrap, and is not visible until the consumer pushes through the perforation and pulls up on the handle--no chance of it tearing off during stacking or usage. The handle, a 125 micron strip of film, runs in line with the 1mil film on the machine and wraps at the same time. It fuses to the shrink pack and thus the load is transferred to the film and bundle. Key features of the shrink wrapper include compact, 25-foot size, large width film capability, continuous web delivery, no vacuum or belt positioning system, belt drive film applicator, pre-perforated film, air bonded overlap, few moving parts and no pneumatics.
