Sollas showcases FSX overwrapper at Emballage

The FSX overwrapper is a fully servo driven overwrapping machine that combines flexibility with high outputs. With the optional motorized adjustment facilities, the machine can be changed over to another product in as little as 10 minutes. All components are adjusted simultaneously to their product related settings, based on product data, stored in the machine's PLC.
"The machine is very popular with customers who require high-speeds and are packaging delicate products," explains Pieter Floris Oly, for example perfume/cosmetics producing customers who do multiple change-overs per day and require short down-times between production runs. This in combination with the large size range, speeds up to 100/min, high efficiency and great ease of operating have yielded references of this machine in the perfume, cosmetic, tea, confectionery, paperware and tobacco industry.
The FSX is only one of the machines from the Sollas range. Also available are Miniflex, Sollas 18, Sollas 20, the SX-series and HST for overwrapping and the Bandum 25/50 for banding.
