Splicing tape
ARclad® 9009, an amber-colored flexible splicing tape, exhibits both heat-activating and p-s properties. The p-s side of the tape allows for ease of use and positioning during application. Heat is applied to the splice to achieve a strong bond for the end-use application.
ARclad® 9009, an amber-colored flexible splicing tape, exhibits both heat-activating and p-s properties. The p-s side of the tape allows for ease of use and positioning during application. Heat is applied to the splice to achieve a strong bond for the end-use application. After heat-activation, the tape is more resistant to various chemicals and elevated temperatures compared to splicing tapes with only PSA properties. It is suitable for converting processes where traditional p-s adhesives cannot perform.
