Super Target Stores set to introduce unbreakable Fetzer 187ml 4-packs

12/09/05 The United States, Super Target stores in 14 states are set to introduce distinctive new 4-packs of Fetzer Valley Oaks Chardonnay and Merlot in lightweight, unbreakable 187ml PET bottles. The Ready To Go! packs will be on store shelves in November.
The 4-packs feature colorful photos and graphics showing consumers enjoying a visit to the beach, at a party, or spending an intimate moment together. New 8-case display racks will show off the purple, pink and green carton graphics and make it easy for consumers to find and enjoy the new packages. The bottles are completely recyclable.
While Super Targets will be among the first to feature the new 4-packs, Fetzer has already found broad success with the package, first introduced earlier this year.

New Jersey Seastreak features the Fetzer wines aboard New York bound ferries, while Sun Country Airlines has them onboard flights throughout the Midwest. At ballparks such as SBC Park in San Francisco, home to the San Francisco Giants, fans have found them convenient to drink in seats while munching on more traditional ballpark fare. Club Corp. Golf & Tennis Clubs in 21 states feature the wines at 164 golf and tennis clubs while concert venues such as the Coors Amphitheatre in Colorado and the Verizon Amphitheatre in North Carolina have added them to drink menus.
Merlot and Chardonnay 4-Packs are expected to sell for $8.99, the White Zinfandel for $6.99.
