Kremsmünster, December 2004. – The new k3 packaging for “Pardos” from Greiner Packaging revolutionises Austria’s confectioners’ shelves. Salzburg Sweets launches handy user-friendly premium packaging for sweet snacks. High convenience The k3 cup from Greiner Packaging leads to substantial improvements for sellers and consumers alike. “Pardos” can be attractively presented on the shelves and most conveniently stacked. The cup is closed with an aluminium lid and once it has been opened, it can be reclosed with a transparent clip-on lid. The cup, holding 65g, fits neatly into the drink-holder of a car. This means no more rolling around or sticky sweets covered in dust. The cup, holding 140g, is perfectly suited as a storage box. Cinema goers will also love this pack. The awful nuisance of “rustling” bag-packaging is a thing of the past. Pardos is particularly practical at parties, family celebrations or when watching TV: Simply open it and put it on the table – that’s it. Relaunch Prior to relaunch, the ball-shaped rice-wheat crispies with a double chocolate coating of milk- and white chocolate (leopard pattern) were sold in plastic bags. The new packs hold 65g/diameter 75mm and 140g/diameter 200mm. The smaller cup is intended for impulse buyers at petrol-stations, kiosks and (school-) canteens. The large unit is universally marketable in grocery and specialty stores and of course, for impulse buyers.
