A range of fresh chilled soups, produced by leading fresh prepared foods manufacturer Geest, is now being packed in custom-designed tamper-evident polypropylene pots produced by RPC Containers Blackburn. The new RPC pots are practical and convenient, as they are resealable and microwavable. They also provide good stability both in retail chiller cabinets and the fridge. The packs are produced in contact clear polypropylene with highly decorated acetate labels, maximising their on-shelf appeal. Customer branding is reinforced by the embossing of the company logo around the rim of the pot. “New packaging development is an important part of our innovation drive in this young market,” explains Michelle Bailey, Senior Buyer at Geest. “We are offering consumers a convenient, user-friendly pack with a generous serving, while at the same time creating maximum brand impact.
