The re-sealable, portion-sized Tetra Pak aseptic carton has arrived and it features the latest 'square' profile popular for packing premium products. Complete with "StreamCap" the latest in screw-cap convenience features, the new Tetra Brik Aseptic 200ml Square package is Tetra Pak's first re-sealable portion-sized carton. The new StreamCap system can be opened or closed with a single twist of the wrist - thanks to its short-thread screw design - and is completely liquid-tight when re-closed. Tetra Pak designed the TBA 200ml Square StreamCap package especially for products where the added value of a smaller, re-sealable pack is appreciated - such as sauces, cream, coffee cream and evaporated milk. Square-profile cartons are already becoming popular in those product segments. Customers packaging premium quality juice and flavoured milk drinks for children are also expected to find the 200ml TBA Square with StreamCap interesting. Market research during development showed 200ml TBA packages fitted with the new StreamCap system proved very easy to handle - for children and adults alike, says Tetra Pak. Tetra Pak began commercially releasing the TBA 200ml Square pack with StreamCap to its customers internationally at the end of March. The company believes that, longer term, it's new StreamCap system will become popular on various sizes of its square-profile aseptic cartons - whenever the ability to re-seal the pack adds value and convenience for consumers.
