Theegarten-Pactec Takes Over Packing Machine For Hard Sweets From Hänsel Processing

Theegarten-Pactec is expanding its product range and has just added the Milletwist packing machine from Hänsel Processing to the product programme. The takeover completes the Dresden company’s offer for the packing of stamped and formed hard sugar sweets in double twist wrapping. Theegarten-Pactec already offers machines which pack 450, 1800 or 2300 products per minute reliably and efficiently. The Milletwist, with a performance of 1000 operations per minute, fits well into the range as an intermediate variant.
The solutions must be as flexible as the tasks and demands of the packaging segment are diverse. Since the Milletwist allows all format parts to be exchanged very conveniently, a quick format change within 15 to 30 minutes is possible. The servo-foil station is easily accessible from the outside, which also contributes to a time saving in the exchange of a wrapping material reel. By way of a double ring plate, the hard caramels are fed into the machine at half speed.
On the one hand this guarantees smooth product handling of the sweets and on the other it provides high feeding performance. Since only two gripping procedures are necessary for the wrapping, the Milletwist also minimizes impact on the product. Our customers benefit from a high performance machine at an attractive price, which is also very easy to maintain and offers a long service life”, explains Markus Rustler, Managing Director at Theegarten-Pactec. “With the Milletwist we are closing a gap in the product portfolio and are convinced that the takeover will already pay off in the middle term.”
With the sale of the Milletwist, Hänsel Processing has stepped up its concentration on the core competences in the area of cooking and stamping plant for the production of sweet goods. “We are pleased to have found an experienced partner in Theegarten-Pactec. In this way we are transferring the Milletwist into reliable hands together with the associated customer base”, as the two directors of the Hänsel Processing GmbH, Frank Temme and Heiko Kühn explain.
Hänsel Processing developed the Milletwist in the early nineties and has achieved stable sales with the machine every year since – often in the context of complete contracts and in combination with cooking plants. In order to focus increasingly on the core business with process plants, Hänsel Processing was looking for a buyer which could not only incorporate the packaging machine expediently into its portfolio, but could also continue to support the customers competently. The company therefore assesses the takeover of the successful machine by the established packaging machine producer Theegarten-Pactec very positively.
A cooperation contract between the two companies still allows Hänsel Processing to offer its customers the Milletwist as well as other packaging machines from Theegarten-Pactec in the framework of turnkey projects together with its process plant.
