Tilda is the UK’s number one Basmati. With the quality of its Basmati paramount, Tilda has also for many years led the way in consumer-led packaging innovation and, this Autumn, launches its new, patented Seal ‘n’ Store packaging.
Tilda has developed its new packaging with its end consumer very much in its mind. The much-loved Tilda Basmati zip-bag will be replaced in September by an innovative resealable slider on 4kg, 5kg, 7.5kg, 10kg and 20kg bags, which, together with its newly improved airtight membrane, preserves the delicate aroma of the rice inside and protects it from the elements.
Each new Seal ‘n’ Store bag of Tilda Pure Basmati, is ergonomically designed with an easy carry handle (with the exception of the 20kg size). Strong and user-friendly, the new bags are packaged in durable, waterproof royal blue foil, meaning that the contents need not be emptied into another container for storage.
This series of innovations has enabled Tilda to reduce packaging for landfill by 40%.
Tilda will be supporting the launch of its new Seal ‘n’ Store packaging with a new TV campaign highlighting its benefits. In addition radio, press, online and cinema campaigns will follow from September to December.
