18/01/06 Tropical Beverage Inc., a producer and distributor of value-added water-based products, has announced that it has perfected the production of a brand new patented technology for labeling bottles of water. The concept labels will allow the company to provide a means to offset the costs for the water by providing means to advertise on water and flavored beverages. These bottles are planned to be used for promotions, giveaways or just to provide additional information about products.
"These labels are incredible, they are really two labels in one with an over label that hides ads or details that can only be seen through windows on the outer label as the customer turns the bottle. We are working with a large number of companies to use these labels to promote things. On the one hand we can sell spots on the bottle to local advertisers to promote their products or services, and at the same time we can sell the water to retailers for a much lower cost. This allows us to capitalize on increased volumes by selling water at much more competitive prices," said Chris Lotito, COO for Tropical. "The fact that we have an in house printing department really shines through on a product like this, because we are able to do things that others can't even think about. Tropical will be commissioned to manufacture these bottles for others as well as for themselves," he added.
According to Chris, "The beauty of these labels is that the customer will be interacting with the bottle, and if you can capture someone's attention you can promote something. The possibilities are endless and we intend to move forward with three uses for the bottles in the coming weeks," he stated. "This product is going to revolutionize the way people look at water."
