Sparkling water brand Ugly Drinks has extended its range of Ugly Water to four products, as well as unveiled a new can design. The current Lemon & Lime flavor will be joined by new Triple Berry, Orange, and Tropical flavors, which are rolling out across stores.

The brand has also unveiled a new can design where the “U” in Ugly is shaped like a tongue, which the brand claims “encourages consumers to interact by holding a can in front of their face to imitate sticking their tongue out.” Hugh Thomas, co-founder of Ugly Drinks, said: “Millennial consumers are looking for transparent and authentic brands, which can be hard to find within the soft drink sector.” They are already moving away from traditional sodas and carbonated soft drinks, but they struggle to find alternative brands that really communicate with them. “With no sugar, no sweetener, no calories, and no artificial ingredients, Ugly Flavored Sparkling Water provides that perfect ice cold can moment without the guilt.” The launch will be supported by in-store activity and trade and consumer shows. Ugly Water retails at 99p for a 330ml can, and six-can multi-packs retail at £5.89.
