A patented stripper/tube closer enables TNA’s Robag® 3 to easily pack a wide range of products including potato chips, pretzels, tortillas, loose and wrapped confectionery, peanuts, pork crackles, and fresh salad leaves at speeds to 220 bags/min. Rotary double-jaw configuration is said to yield efficiencies greater than 95% and a reject rate of less than 0.5%. Jaws, knives, and drive belts can each be changed in 60 sec, and technology is all digital and servo-driven. Small footprint Robag produces bags from 40-mm to 420-mm W at virtually any length. Accommodates OPP, laminations, and coextruded HDPE films.
