Yerecic Label is proud to announce the launch of a revamped version of the recognized Easy Fresh Cooking® label line. The Easy Fresh Cooking® program incorporates shopper insights from consumer research into labels that entice, inform and inspire consumers to purchase more produce.
“A decade of consumer research tells us that the opportunity for impulse purchases in the produce department is high and over 50 percent of shoppers get their produce information from within the department,” said Yerecic Label President Art Yerecic. “These facts alone give growers and retailers a unique opportunity to connect and engage at the point of purchase.”

The Power of Produce
2015 research shows 23 percent of produce shoppers say information/recipe ideas have a great deal of influence on the purchase decision. “One of the biggest assets to the refreshed Easy Fresh Cooking® program is that it connects strongly with Millennials,” said Yerecic Label Marketing Manager Kristin Yerecic.
“Millennials are less influenced by things like appearance and seasonality, but more concerned with aspects like preparation time and recipe ideas. Easy Fresh Cooking® connects with these ideals.”
Yerecic Label’s stock Easy Fresh Cooking® line features two different lines; one to reflect specific produce items and one to reflect cooking method, but the Easy Fresh Cooking® concepts can be applied to any custom label. Both product lines are styled after popular design trends, kraft paper and chalkboard.
