Tea and coffee pack innovations

Tea and coffee product launches have registered a +4% average annual growth between October 2017 – October 2022. Fifty-two percent of tea and coffee products are launched in Carton packaging, followed by Plastic – Not Specified (41%), Paper (32%), Aluminum (8%) and Metal (5%). Paper has grown at +13% for tea and coffee packaging over the last five years, followed by Aluminum (+12) and Glass (+4%). Furthermore, more than half (52%) of tea and coffee products are launched in a Folded Box, followed by Tea Bags/Coffee Pods (29%). Tea and coffee product launches have also seen a +41% average annual growth of packaging with carbon labeling claims between October 2017 – September 2022.
