Interpack 2023: Aimplas talks material challenges amid EU’s PPWD revisions

Lorena Rodriguez Garrido, packaging group leader at Aimplas, flags standardization of protocols for reusable packaging legislation and material waste stream pose challenges for food packaging. Additionally, the proposed Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (PPWD) revisions will help resolve the industry’s greenwashing problem, she says.
