The Oregon Senate passed the Baby Bottle Bill on Thursday. The bill prohibits the sale or manufacture of food and beverage holders containing BPA intended for children younger than three.
That includes baby bottles, sippy cups, and infant formula cans, as well as the sale of sports water bottles. BPA has been found to disrupt children's brain development and is linked to chronic health problems like diabetes and breast cancer. This bill now heads to the Oregon House for a vote.
