As cider remains the hot category in all channels of trade; Brothers announce a 50% increase in sales for the first quarter of 2011. To cope with the demand a limited edition amber bottle has been produced which has now gone into distribution. A total of 300,000 bottles will be packaged in this new amber bottle which has been created as a short-term solution to fulfill orders.

“It is a fantastic position to be in; demand has been much greater than we expected within this first quarter” says Brothers Drinks, Matthew Showering. “We have the summer ahead and with the support of our new TV advertising campaign and online activity it’s going to be a very exciting year!”

Brothers Cider is the third largest investor in advertising in the cider market and is committed to building rate of sale for its retailers wherever it is stocked. Advertising will increase over coming months with an even bigger TV presence on national channels across the summer backed up with sampling at festivals and the 02 arena, social networking, website and viral activity.
