On the Cama monoblock loading unit, size changing can be carried out by the operator in a completely automatic way, supported by servo-motor controls and, even better, with no need of tools (ASC - Automatic Size Changing). In any case, the Cama standard size changing version involves no use of utensils as well and a quick parts replacement system (robot pick-up heads, closing heads, etc.) by means of an automatic release control mechanism. In addition, Cama has developed a digital size changing system (ASR - Automatic Size parts Recognition), which guarantees automatic recognition of the various components positions, with accurate adjustment and a quick line restart.
Thanks to the new “IFeel Panel”, Cama is able to offer intuitive preventive maintenance and innovative training solutions for line operators. IFeel Panel represents the most user-friendly and effective on board HMI to carry out preventive maintenance programme and size changing procedures by means of video and relevant explanations.
Cama’s FW Electronic Case Packers are capable of packing various types of products in a wrap-around case as well as in a two-pieces display case for retail-ready packaging solutions.
Depending upon the configuration required, the products can be loaded either on edge (landscape or portrait) or flat into the cases. The Cama case packer is a “tried-and-tested” machine, granting extreme reliability as well as flexibility in order to meet the various market requirements. Consultation is also offered by Cama personnel regarding new packaging styles and methods thanks to a dedicated in house packaging design department that helps our customers in designing the best customized RRP packaging for their needs.
With its unique combination of a wide range of robotic units and packaging machinery, all by Cama’s own engineering and production, Cama is able to offer complete packaging lines and systems.
Daniele Bellante, CEO of the company pointed out: “Cama possesses unique qualities that make it one of the world leaders in the packaging sector. First of all, a unique range of packaging machines and robotic systems (all of them of concept, design and realization by Cama) through which we bring great added value to the final customer: the reason is that we offer various different ways of resolving the same issue without being slave to any technology or product in particular. This leads to the foundation of an immediate partnership with potential customers and, on the other hand, makes unavoidable the investment of 5% of Cama yearly turnover in R&D.” “Another fundamental aspect,” continued Mr Bellante “is represented by our unique in-house packaging and design department, through which we are able to design and construct carton prototypes with relative drawings, which are part of a global solution that includes machines, lay-outs, efficiency and costs evaluation.”
“We also provide turn-key systems, including complete secondary packaging lines, having in common the same electrical and mechanical standards, the same Project Management and Commissioning services and the same responsibility on functioning. Ultimately, the economic and financial solidity/reliability of a group that, through a quality production process, allows us to constantly invest, both from a commercial and a technical point of view, in order to make the company grow.”
