Focusing on optical character recognition, the Omron F210 CF date verification vision sensor monitors printed codes for readability and rejects packages with undreadable, incomplete, or missing codes. It also alerts system operators of defects so that corrections can be made quickly. Enables 100% inspection of codes inline and automatically updates date codes daily without operator intervention. Set-up and changeover can be done through a hand-held keypad rather than a PC.
