FOSS is focusing on the growing yoghurt market with an enhanced version of the popular MilkoScanTM FT1.
In recent years, the market for healthy, high quality yoghurt products has been on the rise. To match these demands the MilkoScan FT1 has been enhanced with a more powerful pumping system that can now accommodate viscous products such as yoghurt and cream. The new feature enables yoghurt producers to use just one instrument throughout the process, eliminating the need to dilute samples.
Same standard – more power
MilkoScan FT1 is built on the well proven analytical technology behind the world’s most widely used Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) milk analyser, the MilkoScan FT120.
In addition to the new pumping system, MilkoScan FT1 has been taken to the next level with even more robust calibrations that require less maintenance and new quality components such as Acidity, Density and Free Fatty Acids, for optimal quality assurance.
User-friendly software features, such as outlier detection and automatically saved spectra, have been included to make it easier for producers to work with quality assurance and traceability. And the cutting-edge software implemented in the FT1 is compatible with all modern IT systems, ensuring that vital data is secured well into the future.
FOSS yoghurt solutions
The FOSS yoghurt portfolio provides a variety of solutions for all types of yoghurt and other viscous products from cream to Greek yoghurt. For example, the FoodScan is a versatile NIR solution for convenient measurement of a wide range of constituents such as fat, protein and sugars in yoghurt or the in-line NIR solution ProFoss that can analyse even denser products such as cream cheese and Greek yoghurt.
