FleetwoodGoldcoWyard to Feature Unwrapper and Destrapper at Pack Expo 2006
The Destrapper (Debander) operates at the infeed line to the Depalletizer and automatically removes the holding straps from pallets of cans, glass and PET bottles.
11/08/06 FleetwoodGoldcoWyard, a Barry-Wehmiller company and a leading supplier of advanced conveyance technology and material handling equipment, will demonstrate its latest machinery at Pack Expo 2006, Oct. 29 to Nov. 2, at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill.
Featured at the show will be FleetwoodGoldcoWyard’s Unwrapper and Destrapper (Debander). The Unwrapper is designed to effectively remove the stretch wrap from incoming loads of palletized product. With its small footprint, the Unwrapper’s modular design has a 90 second cycle per pallet and compresses and conveys wrapping material to a hopper. The Unwrapper can be installed on new lines or added to existing lines.
The Destrapper (Debander) operates at the infeed line to the Depalletizer and automatically removes the holding straps from pallets of cans, glass and PET bottles. With its adaptable design, the Destrapper can also be used on case and other products. The Destrapper reduces labor costs and eliminates the need for an operator to remove and dispose of straps by hand. Its simple controls allow an operator to set the machine and leave it unattended for extended periods of operation.
The Unwrapper and Destrapper are just a few of the machines in the series of pallet handling systems offered by FleetwoodGoldcoWyard. A team of professionals from FleetwoodGoldcoWyard will be available in booths #S-400 and #S-406 throughout the show to discuss all of the company’s latest technology and equipment.
