Frutarom Germany GmbH in Emmerich, manufacturer of Food Systems (fruit and vegetable preparations), has complemented its production equipment with a flexible bag filling system. An important goal of Frutarom’s Food Systems strategy is to develop, produce and sell tailor-made product solutions to our customers in the dairy, ice cream, deep frozen, bakery, convenience and catering industries. In March 2006, Frutarom took another step towards providing customers with the latest in packaging technology with the addition of a new aseptic bag filling system to the existing production equipment at Frutarom’s subsidiary in Emmerich (Germany). This enables Frutarom to individually fulfill its customers’ needs in terms of smaller and more flexible packaging, ranging from 5 kg to 20 kg, and for aseptic batch-specific processing. The bags used are sterile, equipped with a gas-barrier and conform to the food industry’s most up to date quality standards. Double-protected aseptic filling technology by double steam sterilization guarantees state-of-the-art filling, a most secure technology for completely sterilizing residues in areas of contact. The possibility for hot and cold filling of liquid up to highly viscose products, with or without food particles, is another advantage that enhances the flexibility of food manufacturers.
