GreenBottle, New Ecological Packaging Solution

16/01/08 After tetrabrick maybe it is time for GreenBottle, or at least that is what its producers want. It is a packaging that will be sold in the UK this year and that has received an ecological award.

It is made of recycled board and with biodegradable plastic on the inside; the green bottle uses the same technology as the traditional egg cups. The inner bag isolates the milk, or the product contained (although its producers have focused on milk products), against carton contamination.

The advantage is that, once used, this separable bag can be removed from the bottle and thrown away, whereas the carton can be recycled again.
