18/08/06 Centerra Wine Company announced today that Inglenook, a top 15 wine brand, has undergone a stylish packaging makeover featuring a new label with a watercolor grapevine illustration and a Bordeaux style bottle. Inglenook’s upscale, new look will generate category excitement and turn consumer heads.
“Inglenook’s makeover adds energy to a popular wine brand that consumers have enjoyed for over 125 years,” said Peggy Fox, vice president of marketing for Centerra Wine Company. “The new design reinforces consumer perceptions and demonstrates our excitement over Inglenook’s growth opportunities.”

The brand’s new label reinforces that Inglenook is a refreshing, great tasting wine and the combination of gold label accents and a gold capsule also supports its premium, yet casual brand image. “Consumers consistently scored the new Inglenook package higher than several direct competitors,” added Fox. “This feedback bolsters our excitement and allows us to compete more effectively in both the fighting varietal and value glass categories.”
The new design is planned for all Inglenook SKU’s and will arrive in retail locations starting in August 2006. The brand features a variety of sizes and popular blends, including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, White Zinfandel, Chablis and more.
