This means that the new Cartoner packs all products that can conceivably be packed in this type of packaging.
The size of the cartons that may be processed can vary within a wide range. The smallest possible carton is 63 mm x 16 mm x 114 mm (length x width x height). The size of the largest conceivable carton is 243 mm x 152 mm x 330 mm. The maximum output of the all-stainless-steel Cartoner is 200 cartons per minute.
A key feature of the Innopack F 2000 IMC is the consistent use of servo equipment. Using servo motors means short cycle times and high performance coupled with exact adherence to positioning accuracy, which is so very important. Other advantages provided by the use of servo equipment include clearly arranged machine design, outstanding accessibility, and easy, quick, and effective cleaning, which fulfills the requirement for maximum hygiene.
The Innopack F 2000 IMC operates in intermittent mode on the principle of horizontal side loading. The Cartoner can be changed over within a minimum amount of time to adapt to a new product or type of carton.
Additionally, the new KHS Metec Innocheck ETI label inspection system, which can be used to check the dressings of all conceivable containers. Like the Innopack F 2000 IMC, the system is equally predestined for use in the beverage as well as the food and non-food sectors.
The Innocheck ETI is able to inspect containers at a rate of up to 60,000 containers per hour. The labels applied to each style of container may vary in shape, size, and the type of material.
Within the system, a special illumination unit ensures that each container is uniformly illuminated. As standard, the KHS Metec label inspection system checks for the presence and correct seating of individual labels as well as for the optimum application of the labels in the specified relationship to one another. Further inspection options relate to precise and complete printing, coloring, best-before date, EAN code, and much more. The general rule is that everything related to a label can be checked down to the last detail.
Label management as well as additional level monitoring and cap measurement can be integrated into the system as an option. The detection accuracy of the new KHS Metec label inspection system is almost 100 percent, but can be easily adjusted to the tolerance limit defined within the labeling machine.
