Since 2007, Plasticum has developed a wide range of dispensing closures with the so called MaxiDose Technology and has become one of the leading companies in offering valve solutions to the market in only three years time. Many A-Brands as well as Private Labels have adopted these cost-effective valve closures for accurate dispensing of their Food and Personal Care formulations.
The success story of these products is not surprising. The MaxiDose technology offers many advantages, also for top-down bottles. The key is the simple yet incredibly effective valve mechanism, which has been patented by Plasticum. The consumer can conveniently dose the quantity he or she actually wants. The self-closing silicon valve solution ensures fully controlled and clean dispensing, without leaving residue on the orifice. No drips. No mess. No clogging. An ever clean orifice is guaranteed.
The valve closure consists of only two parts which are assembled by a specially developed ultrasonic staking technique. This production process – running in a HACCP approved area – has a much lower energy consumption than competitive systems and is therefore most environmentally friendly. Using this technique enables Plasticum to bring a cost-effective valve solution to the market combined with improved functionality.
Many different designs and diameters are commercially available, ranging from small (29 mm) to large (55 mm) and from round to oval shapes. Customers can choose between different orifices – with or without valve – in screw-top or snap-on applications. Some closures are dedicated to the Food market and other closures are more suitable for Personal Care products. Excellent dispensing opportunities are given for a wide range of viscosities and product applications.
