“The project has been very challenging, the idea was to create a total integration between raw material, packaging, decorations and cosmetic formula”. States Mrs. Marina Chiesa Marketing Manager at Mktg Industry. “We started from our packaging PBB – Petite Boite a Beaute, a compact case for make-up powders entirely made in Italy using cardboard and paper, and already winner of the Eco-Beauty Design award at Cosmotron 2015. We thought it would have been a great idea to make a special limited edition product starting from the multi sensorial features of the paper and cardboard by Fedrigoni, extending them to the packaging, recalling the effect through the printing and decorations, and finally once you open the pack here comes the make-up compact powder by Pharmacos that just like a precious jewel unveils itself matching perfectly the texture of the paper, the color of the decorations, the feeling of the pack, for an overall Total Product Integration, which is part of the 360° Full Service offered by Mktg Industry to the Cosmetic and Make-up market”.
Marina, briefly explains the project: “In the make-up world, everyone always looks for a packaging able to hit the consumer’s attention. In this project, we tried to amaze consumers in a multi-sensory way with our PBB, a new line of Compact Cases & Palettes in cardboard entirely designed and manufactured in Italy. In fact, thanks to the quality and the features of the paper, the packaging can be considered an extension of the formula, allowing recreating the special effects of every cosmetic product.” “For this project, very challenging, we asked to Pharmacos’ laboratories to develop a pressed powder exclusively for Mktg Industry, with textures, pigments and reliefs that could remind the packaging and the texture of the paper.
In fact, they have reproduced the embossing of thousands ring shaped recesses, that characterizes the Fedrigoni Spillo Jade’s paper, directly on the powder, working in synergy with its ingredients for the realization of this beautiful blush.” Ends Mrs. Chiesa. Fedrigoni industry, that has been working for years in close contact with the fashion and luxury companies, developing papers and finishes for packaging, provided “Spillo Jade” paper for this project. This new paper, extremely sophisticated, urges the touch and the sight, marrying perfectly with the cosmetic formula for a total integration solution. The Total Product Integration project gives birth to a Limited Edition that will be presented at the Luxe Pack in Monaco, into Arena show cases and at Fedrigoni Booth VA2 in the Hall Verriere, showing the Italian excellence in the cosmetic world.
