Natural energy drink debuts in cube-shaped container with flip-top cap
Based in Sweden, IO Drinks AB has created a new energy drink, Ceethree's iO, based on Green Coffee and Guarana, containing a variety of fruits and herbs and free from artificial flavors, colors and extracts. The result is a fresh, fruity drink that provides caffeine (the equivalent of a cup of regular coffee), antioxidants and vitamins in their purest form.

To effectively convey the brand's essence, IO Drinks has selected a cube-shaped plastic beverage container with a flip-top cap, developed by Cubis Ltd., which has been designed for on-the-go consumption.
The patented 25cl Cubis container is stackable, reducing CO2 emissions thanks to more efficient transportation and maximizing retailer shelf space. For the consumer, the container offers the same lightweight, easy handling benefits of plastic, with the added convenience of one-handed opening and a distinctive shape that creates on-shelf impact.
Brand differentiation is further achieved thanks to the full-body shrink-sleeve label from CCL Decorative Sleeves. UV flexo printed in five colors on 50 micron OPS, the sleeve's design conveys the natural qualities of the product with a matt lacquer effect to accentuate its organic properties. The sleeve also provides effective tamper-evidence with perforations for easy removal at the point of consumption.
Sleeving offered the best solution to combine effective decoration with tamper-evidence for the unusually-shaped container. CCL Decorative Sleeves' technical expertise ensured effective shrinkage to the container to maintain the quality and clarity of the graphics.
