New Bericap Valve Lock Closure for Water Cooler Containers
Unlike the traditional closure systems that rely on a foam liner, the Bericap VALVE LOCK is able to accommodate these differences and provides a consistent and effective seal.
16/12/06 Manufactured since summer 2005 in Bericap plant United Kingdom, this unique bi-injected closure consists of an LDPE shell and special TPE seal. This seal is conform to the new EEC directive applicable since August, 1st, 2005 regarding the suspension of the use of Azodicarbonamide as blowing agent and initially used in foam liners.
For many years, the cooler industry has suffered and still suffers leaker problems in transit due to the inherent variations in neck finish dimensions and the inevitable neck damages found associated with returnable 19 litre containers. Unlike the traditional closure systems that rely on a foam liner, the Bericap VALVE LOCK is able to accommodate these differences and provides a consistent and effective seal.
Thanks to the success of the VALVE LOCK with outstanding sealing performances and to better serve the growing market demand for high quality products on the HOD segment, BERICAP is now increasing its VALVE LOCK production capacities in three other facilities across Europe: VITTEL in France, NIEPORET in Poland and BOR in Russia.
With on line production process, the VALVE LOCK will be manufactured under high quality standards similar to the production of regular caps for mineral water that made the reputation of BERICAP Group among the retail bottled water segment worldwide.
