The new FastBack Seasoning Application System from Heat and Control reduces product breakage and delivers superior coverage using less seasoning. Advanced Area Control Technology automatically adjusts seasoning feed rate to match changes in product flow, improving coating uniformity and reducing seasoning waste. The patent-pending system uses no belts, resulting in simplified cleaning and maintenance and lower operating costs. A FastBack 50E horizontal motion conveyor provides precise product feed control that's unaffected by product density or bed depth. Agitation paddles in the flex-wall seasoning feeder prevent bridging and clogging, while a removable liner allows quick, neat changeovers. The Excaliber seasoning applicator dispenses an even curtain of seasoning into the drum without clogging or build-up, and is easily removable without tools to simplify cleaning. Direct drive of the gentle motion tumbler eliminates maintenance of chains and tensioning, while one-piece flights in the drum improve seasoning exposure and reduce breakage.
