Bulk liquid pouches made with Liquiflex® Advance(TM) films offer lightweight, space-saving convenience compared to metal cans and use 30% less material than competitive pouches
Using 96% less material than metal cans-and saving considerable space and cost-bulk pouches have become a popular replacement for packaging liquid products from sauces and condiments to soups and stews. Liquiflex® Advance(TM) films offer processors who are considering or have made the switch to pouches even more savings by downgauging up to 30% compared to competitive structures. The benefits add up throughout the supply chain, with better space utilization in transit and storage; less product waste thanks to greater roll footage and fewer changeovers; and 30% less landfill waste.
Designed for the abuse of foodservice applications, ultra-thin, durable Liquiflex® Advance(TM) films are engineered with outstanding strength, barrier and organoleptic properties to protect the taste and quality of refrigerated, frozen or shelf-stable foods. The films feature unmatched thermal stability, allowing for improved weight control and less product give-away on hot-fill applications, and go from the freezer to re-thermalization in boiling water. Filled pouches are field-tested to resist tearing, sheering and puncture, staying sealed until operators open them. Optional features include EZ Peel® "lift & peel" opening technology for safe opening without knives or scissors; easy dispensing with specially engineered fitment options; and high-impact printing to convey cooking instructions or showcase marketing messages right on the package.
On the production line, Liquiflex® Advance(TM) films deliver outstanding machinability and thermal sealability for superior productivity. The films stay crystal clear, stiff and strong in applications up to 212ºF.
