New Mattoni, Designed to Fly Higher in the Market
Mattoni trademarks desires to continue routing and giving direction and therefore, it follows up the success in launching Mattoni Sport and Mattoni Active into the Czech market in cooperation with Jan Capek, a young Czech designer.
30/05/08 Karlovarské minerální vody, the producer of Mattoni mineral water, has launched a new design of 1.5 litre PET bottle in all the three type of Mattoni mineral water – still, sparkling and finely sparkling. The purpose is to catch up with the tendency of the Czech public towards relevancy of its design. In that way, Mattoni continues to implement the chnages in cooperation with such names as Alessi, Pininfarina or B. Šípek. Thus it contributes to the generally growing attention shown by the consumer in relation to functioning products and packages in any branches of the industry.
Certainly, many people will be surprised to hear that the existing Mattoni bottle was launched into the market in 1998. In the period of 9 years, it became an inseparable part of everyday life and a standard of the entire category of bottled waters. Mattoni trademarks desires to continue routing and giving direction and therefore, it follows up the success in launching Mattoni Sport and Mattoni Active into the Czech market in cooperation with Jan Capek, a young Czech designer.
“What we have attempted to put forward in the new Mattoni bottle is not only the uniqueness of it, but also its harmony and elegance…The image of eagle encircles the entire bottle. It is contemporary with its fierceness and even boldness and it also follows up the history of the Mattoni trademark in its graphics. The fundamental innovation that firmed the bottle design is the bottom, completely redone and graded smoothly in the half-globe form, which five separate stems come out from in dynamic intersections. Thus the main line of the new Mattoni bottle will never touch the ground. It opens up bows back in the upward direction. Visually, the new bottle frees itself from the ground and heads upwards imaginarily followed with the eagle,” said Jan Capek, author of the Mattoni new bottle design.
