Oystar Expands Capacities in India
These include filling and sealing machines for filling and sealing preformed cups as well as plants with volumetric and load filling systems for filling products into pouches and bags, glass, cups and cans.
Jul 20 2010 --- Hassia Packaging Pvt. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Oystar Group in India, is expanding its business location in Pune. The foundation stone for construction of the new building was laid on June 1, 2010; the actual move is planned for 2011.
Thus Oystar will double its capacities for management and production in India to a space of 4,033 square meters in size. “With this increase in capacity we will enhance our manufacturing expertise in India,” explains Christian Korte, President of the business unit Dairy at Oystar. “In doing so we are also ensuring further successful growth on the Asian markets.”
Hassia Packaging Pvt. Ltd. manufactures packaging machines for the food and chemical industries. These include filling and sealing machines for filling and sealing preformed cups as well as plants with volumetric and load filling systems for filling products into pouches and bags, glass, cups and cans. The filling ranges are between 25 g and 50 kg. A total of seventy staff are currently employed at Hassia Packaging Pvt. Ltd.; approximately thirty more are to be hired at the new manufacturing plant.
