30 Apr 2018 --- Tetra Pak aims to launch a paper straw that is suitable for its portion-sized carton packages before the end of the year, as part of a broader programme to help address the issue of plastic straw waste. Last month the UK government announced plans to ban the sale of plastic straws, as part of the Conservative government’s strategy to abolish all plastic waste by 2040, prompting suppliers to respond with paper straw design strategies.
