Soups are one of the hottest new trend products in Germany. According to data, the market grew by 1.3 per cent to 563 million EUR in the year 2003. Campbell’s Germany is the clear market leader: in 2003, it held a market share of 32 per cent in the total soup market, 52 per cent for stews, 27 per cent for ready-to-serve soups and 55 per cent for instant soups.
