Weber Marking Systems has introduced its R110XIIIIPlus RFID smart label printer/encoder, a unit that combines smart label encoding and verification with thermal/thermal-transfer printing. Encodes case- and pallet-level information on very thin UHF transponders embedded in p-s ‘smart labels,’ simultaneously verifying the accuracy of the encoding. Upgradeable printer prints text, bar codes, and/or graphics at 203 dpi. Labels to 41¼2”W x 39”L can be dispensed at speeds to 10”/sec.
