Smurfit Kappa, expert in complete packaging solutions for Bag-in-Box®, widens the scope of the Pouch-Up® by multiplying its original applications. Smurfit Kappa Bag-in-Box, in collaboration with YéO, a subsidiary of the dairy group Sodiaal, created Pouch-Up® packaging for yoghurt drinks. The Pouch-Up® solution has various advantages: it’s lightweight packaging, easy to use - especially thanks to its Original Vitop® tap located on the outside and therefore perfectly adapted to yoghurt drinks.
Named “La Fontaine à Yaourt”, YéO’s latest product is a yoghurt drink made of mixed strawberries, without preservatives, manufactured in France and packaged in Pouch-Up®. It was one of the 10 products chosen to participate in the innovation awards “Grand Prix des Innovations” of the Intermarché supermarket, which supports and rewards innovative SMEs. La Fontaine à Yaourt won the award, after votes from the general public. Appreciated by the consumer for its numerous advantages, this innovative 1.5L packaging guarantees a shelf-life of 10 days after opening and a practical, funny and economic consumption while being eco-friendly - the environmental impact is 40% inferior to a plastic bottle.
