A CONTINUOUS motion unscrambler, filling and capping line, designed for small diameter unstable tubes, has been developed by Italian manufacturer Vasquali. Handling varying shapes and sizes of high-sided parallel tubes at up to 200/minute, the line comprises a circulating conveyor which transfers product pucks. From a container hopper feeding an OMR 150 unscrambler, an in-line scroll feeder and star wheel separates and positions empty pucks in front of the unscrambler chutes ready for loading. Down-line, a VBB multi-head rotary product feeder fills each container with a counted number of coated chocolates before transfer to a model RC PT-10 rotary capper inserts a picked and placed cap.
