Enfield-based packaging solutions provider Tri-Star has introduced a range of hinged salad containers, which incorporate a tamper-evident seal. Targeting both the retail and food services sectors, the Tri-pack salad container range is available in three sizes – 250, 375 and 500ml. Easy to open and produced from high clarity PET, the packs are clear, strong and have a spoonable base allowing the consumer to finish their salad with ease. They have also been designed to stack easily, maximising shelf space. Kevin Curran, Tri-Star’s MD, says: “We believe we have created the ideal salad container, allowing customers to see the product clearly before purchase and knowing that nobody has tampered with the contents. The new seal also saves costs as no additional labelling is required to act as a seal.”
