The cup is manufactured using FDA-compliant materials and a proprietary multilayer PP sheet that produces a thermoformed package with low haze.

New from Sonoco is a clear, high-barrier 12-oz thermoformed cup with high clarity and shelf appeal. Suitable for barrier food applications such as snacks, nuts, and cereals, the XCHB Series 12-oz cup offers good oxygen and moisture barrier characteristics. Manufactured using FDA-compliant materials and a proprietary multilayer PP sheet that produces a thermoformed package with low haze. Completely recyclable, the cup has a high organic and flavor barrier, is nestable for compact shipping before filling, and includes a flange suitable for heat-sealed membrane lidding. LDPE overcaps are available in many colors.
