Uncle Matt’s Organic will save materials, water, power, and landfill space by shipping products in recycled boxes.
Uncle Matt’s Organic will save materials, water, power, and landfill space by shipping products in recycled boxes.
Florida-based organic juice producer Uncle Matt’s Organic has begun shipping its entire family of products, including its flagship 59oz orange juice, in 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard boxes.
“This is just one more step toward sustainability for our company,” said Matt McLean, founder and CEO of Uncle Matt’s. “We believe in protecting the environment and know that using recycled cardboard boxes is one more way to accomplish that goal.”
By shipping its juice in recycled boxes, Uncle Matt’s says it will save 1,821 trees, 225 yards of landfill, 481,950 gallons of fresh water, 331,700 KWH of power, and 107.1 tons of CO2 footprint in one season.
