The new selection of 42p price marked handypacks snacks include:
- Hula Hoops 34g (Original, Beef, Salt & Vinegar, Cheese & Onion and BBQ)
- Skips 17g (Prawn Cocktail)
- Nik Naks 30g (Nice N Spicy, Rib N Saucy and Scampi & Lemon)
- Wheat Crunchies 30g (Crispy Bacon, Spicy Tomato and Worcester Sauce)
- Discos 28g (Salt & Vinegar and Cheese & Onion)
- Frisps 28g (Cheese & Onion and Salt & Vinegar)
- Roysters 28g (T-Bone Steak)
In addition to the price marked handypacks, UB has also launched a Hula Hoops Composite Case of 42p price marked packs including 24 x Salt & Vinegar and 24 x Cheese & Onion handypacks, which is available now from cash and carries and wholesalers.
As well as the range of 42p price marked handypacks, UB has announced a range of 89p price marked packs across its popular KP Nuts range, which includes:
- KP Nuts (Salted) 90g
- KP Nuts (Dry Roast) 80g
- KP Jumbo Nuts (Salt & Vinegar and Spicy Chilli) 75g
This increased range of price marked packs are now available following the success of the price marked packs launched last year. Retailers have now an incredible selection of snacks to help them increase sales and provide a range of value for money snacks for their customers.
Research highlights that visible value is vital to shoppers and that 65% impulse purchases for crisps and snacks in convenience stores are due to promotion and packaging. A recent test with price marked packs generated a 13% increase in retail sales value. Retailers should make sure they take advantage of this opportunity to drive incremental sales by stocking the full range of UB’s snack Price Marked Packs. The 42p and 89p prices are clearly displayed on the packs to ensure stand out on-shelf.

This increased promotional support will help retailers further boost their sales and profits.
