California’s Vendange Wine Cellars today announced a bold new package for its “fighting varietal” table wines, available in 750 ml and 1.5 liter sizes. The bottle now features a larger base label in classic cream, with the distinctive Vendange triangular label sporting a handsome “V” over a background of rich vineyard foliage. The updated graphics, a combination of classic and modern styles, enhances the Vendange appearance to match the quality of wine in the bottle. “We are thrilled with the new Vendange look,” said Vendange Brand Manager Sarah Cook. “Our goal was to revitalize the label and incorporate evolutionary changes while retaining the recognizable brand elements that hold equity for consumers. The new look affirms the product quality that we know exists in the bottle and its elegant style makes the brand suitable for any occasion.” The label redesign project was awarded to CF Napa, located in Napa, California. Dave Schuemann, Creative Director for the project, said, “Our goal in the redesign process was to maximize package effectiveness on the shelf to compete within the category, while raising the quality image and retaining positive design qualities associated with the label. The final product does just that and we are encouraged by the response the new package has seen this far.” Vendange wines are known for their clean varietal character, high quality, good value and wide selection. The newly packaged product is available on retail shelves nationwide and is priced at $4.99 per 750 ml and $8.99 per 1.5 liter.
