WP BAKERYGROUP is winner of the Südback Trend Award 2014. On Saturday, 18th October 2014, the coveted prize for pioneering ideas in the baking industry was awarded to the innovative WP MATADOR STORE GREEN instore baking oven.
WP BAKERYGROUP is winner of the Südback Trend Award 2014. On Saturday, 18th October 2014, the coveted prize for pioneering ideas in the baking industry was awarded to the innovative WP MATADOR STORE GREEN instore baking oven.
The renowned Südback Trend Award distinguishes trend-setting new developments and is considered the Grammy of the bakery and confectionery trade. This year the panel of experts had to choose from 40 innovations. Assessed were, among others, functionality, usability, operational safety, environmental sustainability, hygiene and economic efficiency. Criteria where the MATADOR STORE GREEN is very convincing.
The instore baking oven is particularly energy-efficient and space-saving. Because of its extremely low total connected load, it requires only one single 32 A power socket for four deck ovens. Despite the MATADOR STORE GREEN's very low energy consumption, it maintains a high level of performance and the capacity for genuine batch-on-batch baking. Thanks to the double baking chamber it makes optimal use of the available footprint. In addition, each deck oven is individually controllable to allow flexible baking with literally excellent MATADOR quality results.
WP designer of the oven, Bernd Dannenhauer, accepted the prize in the baker trend forum. "We are very pleased that the panel of experts has awarded the prize to the MATADOR STORE GREEN. We understand this award to be an incentive to continue developing technical solutions that help bakeries produce high quality baking results economically and energy-efficient", explained Bernd Dannenhauer.
