PulPac adds mobile phone tray to Dry Molded Fiber portfolio for alternative electronics packaging

11 Dec 2023 --- PulPac is launching its Dry Molded Fiber Phone Tray Insert for mobile phone packaging to address the growing demand for eco-friendly solutions in the electronics industry. Dry Molded Fiber applications mean choosing a cost-effective product with a reduced environmental footprint compared to conventional plastic or fiber-based alternatives, asserts the packager. 

The tray is now offered to phone producers and represents another stride toward PulPac’s commitment to providing cost-effective, environmentally responsibly produced packaging alternatives.

PulPac’s Dry Molded FIber Phone Tray Insert offers an environmentally sustainable solution to conventional single-use plastic electonic packaging.The reveal complements the dry molding tech provider’s existing “Highway products” lineup, providing businesses with a quick-start solution for their eco-friendly packaging needs. The lineup comprises standardized and commercially validated production-ready applications.

Adding electronic packaging 
PulPac’s Dry Molded Fiber packaging portfolio includes food-grade products such as protective lids, coffee cup lids, cold drink lids, cutlery, trays, bowls and now the Phone Tray Insert.

PulPac also signed a deal with Correns to launch Dry Molded Fiber on the Japanese market and unveiled the “world’s first injection molding machine for fiber-based products,” dubbed PulPac Scala.
